Our Breeds

Rare & heritage chicken breeds

We are dedicated to the preservation and support of threatened breeds and strains of domestic poultry. Every breed we keep is maintained through natural mating from carefully selected stock.

Notice · The 2026 Season

We're spending 2026 improving our genetics and growing our flocks, so none of our heritage chicken breeds will be for sale this year — they return in 2027. Our guinea fowl are the exception and are available now.

Guinea Fowl

The farm has grown beyond chickens — we now keep guinea fowl as well. Guineas are tireless foragers that patrol the pasture for ticks and pests, sound the alarm when anything is amiss, and ask for very little in return. Keets and started birds are available seasonally.
